Hello, my name is Justin Rice and I want to welcome you and thank you for visiting the website of Skiltech Professional Inspections.  I am an experienced Texas state licensed Professional Inspector, AHIT Graduate, and an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector (CPI). As a Professional Home Inspector, I take pride in every property inspection performed & in every Inspection Report I deliver. Not only will I review the inspection report in a way that you can easily understand, but I’ll also teach you a lot about your new home. Whether you are buying or selling real estate, whether the structure is new or old. The inspection I perform for you will give you peace of mind and assured confidence in your real estate transaction.

  • Attic – Visible roof sheathing, ventilation, insulation and framing

  • Plumbing – All visible fixtures, pipes and drains are tested for operation

  • Electrical – Outside entrance wiring, service panel and visible wiring area inspected. Random testing of outlets is performed

  • Heating System – Visible portion of heating plant and components

  • Walls, Floors, Ceilings – General condition

  • Basement – Foundation soundness and evidence of moisture penetration

  • Built-in Appliances – Check to see if operational

Justin Rice

Justin Rice is the owner and founder of Skiltech Professional Inspections. He is a Texas Native and lives in the Dallas, Fort Worth Metroplex.  Justin loves fitness, martial arts, and anything outdoors including camping, backpacking and sports. He is a former U.S. Marine and working with his hands has always been his passion.

For over 2 decades he has worked in the residential and commercial construction and remodel industry throughout North Texas.  With encouragement from friends and family Justin started Skiltech Professional Inspections to be closer to home for his wife, daughter and two sons.  Justin’s goals are to bring the tradition of honest, loyal, and respectful workmanship together with the latest technology to produce a service and experience that people desire.

The Inspection

  • Depending on the condition and size of the homes structure, home inspections can take 2 to 4 hours to complete and even longer for larger houses

  • Your home inspection will consist of more than 120 different inspection points on average.

​

  • Items & systems are inspected for condition, serviceability, functionality and operation.

​​

The Inspection Report

Skiltech Professional Inspections uses a comprehensive computer generated report for professional home inspections. The Skiltech Inspector is detail-oriented, the report and results are easy to read and follow, with a summary page complete with photos. The report will be delivered by the day of or within two business day's after your scheduled home inspection.

After your prospective new home has been inspected you will have the knowledge and confidence you need to proceed forward with your Real Estate transaction.
